A new genome hub for South Green

The complete genome of Coffea canephora has been published today in Science. This research, led by French Institute of Research for Development (IRD), the French National Sequencing Center and the University of Buffalo, relied also on the expertise of researchers worldwide including South Green scientists who involved in the the analyses and released of information systems.

One major achievement is the release of the Coffee Genome Hub. Gene family data were also updated in GreenPhyldb. A new section for gene family submitted and curated by users was also set up and gene families related to caffeine are also available here.
